Arkansas Labor Day Get Away
The below itinerary is still up for discussion, let me know if you all have any ideas.
Day 1 – Friday August 29: KSU at 7:00AM. Starbucks at Bethany and 75 will be the meeting place. Make sure you are filled up with fuel and ready to go.
We will ride from Plano to Eureka Springs (400 miles) We will stay at the Edelweiss Inn. The rooms are cheap $59 and they are right in town. We have stayed here before. I will call and see about a group rate as soon as I get a count on who is attending.
Day 2 – Saturday August 30: Eureka Springs to Bull Shoals. Ride the ferry, the do a loop back to Eureka Springs. I am working on the route. It will be right about 275-300 miles. Staying at the Edelweiss.
Day 3 – Sunday August 31: Eureka Springs to Clarksville via push mountain. This will be a 250-300 mile day. I am also working on this route and should have it ready in the next few days. This will make the ride back home shorter for tomorrow. We will stay at the Super 8 hotel.
Day 4 – September 1: Clarksville to Dallas. We will get up early and head for the house. Should be an easy 300 mile day. We will be home by mid afternoon.
We will be somewhere around the 1200 – 1300 miles for the trip. The weather should be a little cooler. so with all of that said. I need to see how many of you plan on attending. I have included a wish list below. Please tell me if you are planning on attending. if you have anyone else you want to invite let me know and we can pass this information on to them. if you have any ideas about the trip, let me know as well. So lets get ready to ride!
