Great day in Sipapu.

Nothing beats waking up in the cool mountains of New Mexico. I slept pretty well. The night was cool, but we did not get rained on so it was a great experience. Today is going to be a lazy day of hanging out, kicking tires and riding a few miles in the enchanted circle of New Mexico.

Jackie and I did a short route over the beautiful 434 from Mora to Angel Fire. We had lunch in Red River and then backed track to avoid the traffic of Taos. We got back in time to relax and mingle. The Rally set up was nice. The lodge at Sipapu had a fire just weeks prior to the rally, but they handled the 325+ riders with no trouble.

We finished up the night enjoying a home made dinner and hoping that we would win one of the cool gifts they were giving away.. no we did not win. It was one of the best days I have spent at this rally. No rain, just good friends and kicking tires. Life is good.
