I am off Saturday June 27 – Let’s Ride!

The LoneStar BMW 3rd Sunday ride to Hugo was a “Wash-Out” and so we’d like to try that again next Saturday 27th.  As was planned before the ride will begin at the QT station on US75 and Wilmeth in McKinney and will depart there at 8AM.  Colin will lead us to Hugo Oklahoma for lunch and the ride will be about 3 hours, with a break on the way at Honey Grove.  The return route is about 1 1/2 hours. The Route for Saturday is slightly different so here is a link to download the updated route.  The location for lunch is also different than was planned for this past Sunday.  Link to Route for Saturday. Background: This is a fun ride over good roads to Hugo, OK, the city once known as Circus City.  The town is winter headquarters for two different shows: Kelly-Miller and Carson & Barnes.  Those who do not rise to make the next spring’s journey are laid under in Mount Olivet Cemetery’s designated Showmen’s Rest.  We’ll make a brief stop there before we have lunch at Angie’s Circus City Diner in Hugo.   Here are links to additional information about the cemetery: Showmen’s Rest and Bull Rider’s Reprieve Under God’s Big Top

We hope you will join us for a Saturday RTE.
