LoneStar BMW Breakfast Ride – Farmersville Texas

As many of you know, I am not a huge fan of the big group ride. With that being said, I do love hanging out with friends and giving back to the club. Jamie and I volunteered to lead the group for the breakfast ride. Jamie and I had went to Charlie’s a few weeks back and thought it would be a good spot to have a breakfast get together.

We arrived at Charlie’s around 8:45am. There was already some members there and ordering breakfast. We had a nice breakfast and had some time to kick some tires and talk about motorcycles and life. We got a special surprise when our friends Bill and Stephanie showed up. It has been a long time since we got to chat with them. It was a good added surprise to the day. We had a quick meeting letting people know about the pace and how we would be loading up and heading out. Again not a big group riding fan, but this worked out alright.

We had 8-10 bikes on the ride. We only had a few instances that needed some on the fly changes. A bridge had washed out so we had to do some county roads to get back on track. We did a couple of u-turns as I listened to the gps. Yes I am blaming the gps.

We did a nice 100 mile loop and had a good day and stayed dry. It was a good day with our moto friends.
