Lonestar BMW Crawfish Run – Day 3

Well I know that when I woke up on sunday, I was feeling a little blue. No.. I did not drink to much (see Thomas for that) I was bummed that the weekend was coming to an end. It was a great weekend. I have to say thank you to Tom and Herman and the rest of the ride comittee for making this a great ride to kick off the 09 riding season. The food was great, the riding was awesome and the time spent with good friends made this a WONDERFUL weekend. I am already looking forward to next years Crawfish run.
We got up to a very warm and humid morning. the temp on the news said it was 64 degrees. that would be the warmest we would be for many hours to come. Before we took off the rain started to fall. Not really a rain, but a mist of sorts. We all loaded up and decided to head out as one group. Most of the group went home via their own routes. There were a few of us that tagged along with Tom and the gang.

We stopped for lunch in Jefferson at the hamburger Stop. A few of the others that had taken a different route also showed up around lunch time, so we had a nice crowd. It was a nice ending to a very nice weekend. On the ride to Jefferson, we ran into the weather front that had been in the DFW area, the temp dropped 10 degrees in 10 miles and the wind kicked up big time. It did not dampen the fun, as I think we all enjoyed our ride home.
