Muenster Brunch Ride

Not a bad group of bikes – Sport Touring at it’s finest! Richard needed to get some miles on his new FJR , that was all we needed to set up a ride. Myself (Kawasaki C-14) , Richard (Yamaha FJR), Rob (BMW 1300GT), Jackie (BMW 1200 RT), Pete (BMW GS800) and Jim S (BMW 1300GT) all headed out around 9AM. The weather was awesome and we had a beautiful ride. We hooked up with Vern (Honda ST1300) somewhere along the route. We took some back roads and made our way up to Muenster. We were going to eat at Doc’s but they were closed. The sign on the window talked about a picnic down the road. We decided to go check that out. This was a great idea, but the line wrapped around the building and we were much to hungry to wait an hour for food. Besides we were in Jim S home town and something about being thrown out of town did not make him to comfortable. hehehe

Nice new FJR – Richard’s new bike.

I love my Connie
We ate at the Center and had a very nice lunch. Jim said something about sausage and made his way to the store. We parted ways with him and headed home. We did 455 and took the back way just enjoying the day. Got home around 3PM. What a great day for a ride. Richard FJR is beautiful, sure fits him. See all of the pictures here: Muenster Gallery

Love Pete’s new GS
