The NEW Versys is here!

2019 Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE

I was updating a video when a PM came across my face book.

Hey there. I hope you guys have been well. We just got our first new Versys 1000 SE today. I promised I’d let you know. -J Meisel

I have been waiting for this day. I have been intrigued about the new Versys, and I am looking forward to riding one and seeing if all of the new innovations are worth me giving up my beloved V, and moving on to the new one. I love the new look and all of the technology. The downside would be taking on another payment (My Versys is paid off). I am also not a big fan of the new color. But then my little “evil voice” jumps in and says “Just do it!”

Jamie and I will be in Dallas in a couple of weeks, so I am sure we will run by our favorite dealer and visit our friends, AJ and Jason, Maybe even take a test ride.

I love my Versys and if the new one is even better, I can’t wait to ride it. Jamie loves the Versys and she will need to buy in as well. There is no real need to upgrade as our Versys is doing great. We have just eclipsed the 35K mark and we have some great awesome trips planned for the year. We might just hold out for the neon green or bright orange to make its way across the pond. So if anyone gets a chance to go by Plano Kawasaki Suzuki, shoot me a note with a couple of pics and tell me your thoughts. Until then I will continue to have this internal struggle… New V or stick with my beloved!
