Route Type: Twisty Destination
Navigation difficulty: Moderate
Distance: 197 Miles
Lunch Stop: Berryville as a group
Direction from Marietta: North East

Comments: Ride to Nighthawk - https://www.nighthawkcustom.com/ - 220 mile loop - Limited to 9 riders

This ride will take the group over to Nighthawk Customs firearms in Berryville, Arkansas
for a tour of their facility. We will have lunch in Berryville and begin our tour back to
Springdale.

The ride will leave from Onyx Coffee in Downtown Springdale (100 East Emma) at 9 am
on October 19, 2026. Please arrive with a full tank of fuel and early enough if you need
some breakfast and to get caffeinated. Onyx Coffee has a reputation for being one of
the best coffee joints in Northwest Arkansas and has received international awards for
their coffee.

We will depart from Onyx Coffee and head east with a quick stop at the War Eagle Mill.
This will be a great place to get some pics and we want to limit the stop to about 15
minutes. We will depart from the Mill and make our way towards Eureka Springs via
HWY 12, 127, and HWY 23 (Pig trail). We then sneak down to HWY 221 to continue
our trek to Berryville, AR. This will be a great opportunity for some action shots keeping
in mind we have an 11:00 am appointment for our tour.

We will arrive at Nighthawk Customs at 11 am and have our tour of their facility. You may want to have your money/credit card available if you see something that “trips your trigger”. They pride themselves on one gunsmith per gun. After our tour we will have
lunch in Berryville at the Original Ozark Café. We will also fuel up here as well before we depart town.

Departing Berryville on Hwy 21 going to Kingston. If you remember the Clinton’s White Water scandal, we will ride right by the bank involved as we go through the Kingston square and head towards the Boxley Valley. We will traverse the Boxley Valley crossing over the Buffalo River (near the headwater) and continue towards Edwards Junction.

Once at the top of the hill we will then begin a westward-ish journey on HWY 21/16. Turning off on HWY 16 at Fallsville we continue west. There is one turn on this road that has caught several riders off guard. When you see the Boston sign heed the
suggested MPH for the turn. It is a double apex with decreasing radius. We will meet HWY 23 once again just north of St. Paul and turn to the north on our way through Huntsville and back to HWY 12/127 where we will turn west and head home.

This route will be lead by Bill Van Evera. The ride is limited to 7 riders. Sign up at the event. route table.
