The Chattahoochee loop delivers over 350 miles of pure North Georgia exploration, blending flowing gravel, rugged two-track, and sweeping stretches of hidden mountain pavement.
Winding beneath the thick canopy of the Chattahoochee National Forest, this route showcases the region’s wild beauty in every direction.
Along the way, riders roll through charming mountain towns like Ellijay, Dahlonega, Suches, and Helen, each offering plenty of options for great food, cozy lodging, and laid-back camping.
Expect everything from rocky climbs and tight forest roads to smooth curves and splashy creek crossings. Thanks to the mild southern climate, this adventure can be enjoyed for most of the year, with prime conditions from early spring through late fall.
