Explore Georgia the Way It Was Meant to Be Ridden
If you’ve been craving a ride that blends adventure, challenge, scenery, and small-town charm into one unforgettable loop… this is it.
The Creeks, Curves & Back Roads Ride delivers over 350 miles of pure North Georgia exploration. This isn’t a highway tour. It’s a deep dive into the heart of the mountains, flowing gravel, rugged two-track, hidden ribbons of pavement, and forest roads that feel like they were built just for you and your machine.

Beneath the Canopy of the Chattahoochee National Forest
Winding beneath thick hardwood canopy and climbing into sweeping mountain views, this loop showcases the wild beauty of North Georgia in every direction. Expect everything from rocky climbs and tight forest sections to smooth, flowing curves and splashy creek crossings.
From Nimblewill Gap, the road smooths out as it descends the mountain, connecting with Winding Stair Gap Road and tracing the picturesque Noontootla Creek. It’s the kind of stretch where you settle into the rhythm—eyes up, throttle steady, grin wide.
And yes… there are moments you’ll want to stop, kill the engine, and just take it in.

Mountain Towns with Soul
Along the way, we roll through classic mountain towns like:
Ellijay
Dahlonega
Suches
Helen
Each offers great food, welcoming lodging, and relaxed camping options. We’ll even stop at local favorite Van Zandt’s Grill & Grocery in Dial—because no great ADV day is complete without good conversation and a solid meal.

Waterfalls, Bridges & Backcountry Gems
We’ll take a detour to experience the breathtaking Amicalola Falls, one of Georgia’s most impressive natural landmarks.
Then there’s Old Rock Creek—a narrow two-track that feels like a secret passage through the forest. From there, a short 1/3-mile hike leads to the longest swinging bridge in the Eastern U.S., crossing the stunning Toccoa River.
Adventure on the bike. Adventure on foot. That’s how we do it.
Why This Ride Works
Thanks to Georgia’s mild southern climate, this route is rideable for most of the year, with prime conditions from early spring through late fall. Whether you’re sharpening your off-pavement skills or just want to escape the noise of everyday life, this loop delivers the perfect balance of challenge and flow.
Rocky climbs. Creek crossings. Smooth mountain sweepers. Small towns. Big views. Zero stress about logistics.
You just show up ready to ride.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to explore North Georgia the right way… this is it.
Spots are limited. Join us for the Creeks, Curves & Back Roads Ride and experience Georgia beyond the pavement. Before you sign up, here’s what you need to know.
This tour is designed for intermediate adventure riders, those comfortable on gravel and forest roads, with experience handling rocky sections, switchbacks, and elevation changes. You’ll encounter a healthy mix of terrain that keeps things interesting without turning the ride into a survival exercise.
There are optional expert sections along the route, featuring steep climbs and serious rock work, but these are not part of the guided tour. If you choose to explore them, that decision is entirely up to you. They are intended only for highly experienced ADV riders with a few solid years of off-pavement riding under their belt.
And here’s the reality: weather changes everything. A simple gravel road can become slick and technical after heavy rain. Even the easiest trail can demand focus and skill when conditions shift. If we encounter questionable weather, route adjustments will be made with one priority in mind, the safety of the group. Smart decisions always beat stubborn ones in the backcountry.
Come prepared. Come honest about your skill level. And come ready for an incredible North Georgia adventure.
