Pass Rush: Colorado Sport Touring Adventure

Pass Rush is coming up fast, and this is going to be one heck of a ride!

Five days in Colorado, four full days in the saddle, and some of the highest and most spectacular paved roads in North America. Pass Rush is all about big mountains, endless curves, incredible scenery, and the kind of roads that sport touring motorcycles were made for.

Over the course of the trip, we’ll tackle Cottonwood Pass, Wolf Creek Pass, Monarch Pass, and Slumgullion Pass. That means four incredible mountain passes, thousands of feet of elevation changes, plenty of switchbacks, and mile after mile of fantastic Colorado pavement.

And then there are the views.

September is a great time to ride Colorado. The aspens will be starting their annual show, painting the mountainsides in gold as we make our way through the San Juan and Sawatch Mountains. Around every corner there seems to be another view that makes you want to pull over, grab the camera, and just take it all in.

The routes are officially set and available for download! We’ve put together four days of riding that will take us across some of our favorite roads in Colorado. Expect plenty of mountain passes, sweeping curves, tight switchbacks, small mountain towns, and some incredible places to stop and enjoy the views. Download the routes before the trip, get them loaded into your GPS or navigation app, and you’ll be ready to roll when we hit the road in South Fork. Pass Rush is best suited for riders who are comfortable spending a full day in the saddle and riding mountain roads with elevation, tight switchbacks, changing weather, and plenty of curves. Colorado can throw a little bit of everything at you, which is part of what makes riding here so much fun.

This isn't about racing from one destination to another. It's about enjoying the roads, stopping for the views, sharing some laughs, and experiencing some of the best sport touring country in America.
